Mountaineering association Mrsinj was founded by nine people at the end of 2010. The association got the name from the mountain range Mrsinj and its medieval fort Mrsinj grad. Through years of work, the association has trailed several hiking paths on Mrsinj and Gola Plješivica. In cooperation with Croatian Mountaineering Association, the association organises and teaches a variety of courses and conducts training for its members. Furthermore, it cooperates with other mountaineer associations from Lika and other areas through hiking excursions. Mountaineering association Mrsinj is an official member of Croatian Mountaineering Association and the Sport Community of Plitvička Jezera municipality.
